A smart, clean and bright apartment for max 5 people, on 2 floors, with a lovely big balcony overlooking the Rue du Bourg, right in the centre of Morzine! Mountain Highs have been welcoming guests here since summer 2017. T. The apartment was created when an historic building (the Hotel des Alpes, built around 1800) was renovated in 2004 and converted into 8 luxury standard apartments. We also manage Apartment D next door (sleeps 4-5) and apartment H (2nd floor, sleeps 8-9). The apartment has a 3* classification and is a Multipass Member in the Summer (see below).
This apartment is on the main floor, with entrance straight off the lobby. The ground floor is all open plan, an L-shaped sofa (which can convert into a double sofabed), a dining table, and a smart kitchen (re-fitted in 2016) with all the equipment you could need for self-catering. There's also a WC on this level. At the front is a huge balcony to relax on (and people-watch!) with table and chairs. Upstairs are the two bedrooms: one is a double, with a balcony, and the other is a twin, both with wardrobes and bedside tables. There are two bathrooms - one shower room, one bathroom with WC, and an additional WC. The apartment sleeps maximum 5. Please note the apartment also has a pierrade / raclette machine.

Each apartment has a secure small ski & boot locker at ground level. There is no storage area for mountain bikes other than on the balcony (access via a private locking gate). BIKES ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE BUILDING AT ALL.
The location is superb – right in the town centre, opposite Morzine church, next to the Dranse river and just a stone’s throw from the supermarket, boulangerie, bars and restaurants. In the summer it's a 5-minute walk to the superb outdoor swimming pool complex, which is covered in the Multipass system (see above). It’s 5 minutes walk up the vibrant Rue du Bourg to Pleney, but you can also hop on the “D” bus which runs in a loop round the town centre and stops by the church. Please note there's only one parking space available for this apartment. Any additional cars usually have to be parked 5 minutes' walk away in the Carrefour car park, free, or in the underground car park close by, at car owners' expense.
Bookings run Saturday to Saturday in high season. WHAT'S INCLUDED: Winter ski season (Dec 16 - April 14): bedlinen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included. The Rest of the year: (April 14 - Dec 16): bedlinen and towels are included. End of stay cleaning is payable locally and costs €70.
SUMMER BOOKINGS: We are part of the superb Multipass offer, which means that our guests are able to use some leisure facilities in the whole of the Portes du Soleil for just €3 per person per day including the Morzine indoor and outdoor swimming pool complex. Please note that bikes are not permitted to be brought into the building at Residence des Alpes under any circumstances. You can store bikes on the main balcony, which you access through a lockable gate from a side staircase, but we recommend you bring bike locks to lock them to the railings.
